Michele Elfers, ASLA, and Chief Landscape Architect for the City and Borough of Juneau works with Juneau Douglas High School students to develop drafting skills in an AutoCAD class annually. Every year, she introduces the students to current design projects within the community, and encourages them to design some component of the select projects. Over two years, Ben Campbell developed a fish-shaped bike rack from concept to completion with the help of Elfers and his teacher, Colin Dukes.
